Please join the Worship Commission and Msgr. Michael Clay for a Liturgy Day of Reflection!

When: February 23, 2019, 9:00am to 12:00noon

Where: Cassidy Activities Center.

Topic: “The Eucharistic Prayer:  The Greatest Prayer We Pray as Catholics”

This presentation will explore why the Eucharistic Prayer is the most important and greatest prayer we pray as Catholics.  It will examine the role the priest, the deacon, and the laity have in this prayer, a more accessible way to understand how Christ becomes present in the bread and wine, and what is actually happening in each part of the Eucharistic Prayer.  There are lots of surprises awaiting you!” – Rev. Msgr. Michael Clay, D. Min.

Msgr. Clay is a priest of the Diocese of Raleigh (NC) and an associate professor of pastoral theology at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.  He has served as pastor, vocation director, and diocesan director of liturgy in his diocese.  He received his doctorate in liturgical studies.  An in-demand speaker, he has presented workshops in over 75 dioceses in the United States and Canada on a variety of topics.
