Capital Improvements
On behalf of the whole parish community, and particularly from the Finance Council, thank you to everyone who has been supportive of the Capital Improvements Fund, through the Green Envelope and through FaithDirect. The projects funded by your donations will now include the refinishing of the pews and replacing of the floor in the Main Church. One by-product of the past year-and-a-half has been the realization of the wear-and-tear on the pews over the past 35 to 50 (for the pews from the original Church) years. We thank the Miller Company for the immediate work that was done to fix the many cracks and wood-splits last summer. But now, we are contracting with them for the full “fix”. This will take place in the summer months, after the First Communions and CONFIRMATION. And will take about 12 weeks. During that time, we will return to the original Church — now the Cassidy Activities Center — while the work is being done. A disruption, yes—but one with a long-term benefit. Once more, thank you for your supporting the Capital Improvements Fund and projects—and in the summer, your patience and good spirits.

Father Pat
