Welcome to ST. MARK—a Catholic Christian community dedicated to proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ through service to our sisters and brothers.

Founded in 1965, following the Second Vatican Council, the parish has taken as its mission:

We the people of ST. MARK Catholic Church are called by Christ

to Worship God,

to Invite all with love,

to Nurture our faith, and

to Serve others

Organized into five Commissions – Worship, Religious Education, Youth Ministry, Community Growth, and Service – and promoted by the Parish Staff and the Pastoral Council, the parish invites participation by the laity, and offers support, even in a parish so large – 2800 registered families and/or households – through the Small Communities of Faith, with weekly or monthly neighborhood small groups, sharing Scripture, prayer, and faith. Committed from the start to being a tithing parish, the parish’s Total Stewardship of Time, Talent, and Treasure includes outreach to the poor through local community projects and JustFAITH, through workcamp experiences at all age levels, and through allocation of the parish’s 5% tithe to those in need.

And in 2003, the parish facilities were made complete with the Christian Formation Center. Built to house our Religious Education program and Youth Ministry activities, adult education opportunities – including R.C.I.A., ESL and Little Rock Scripture Study – and our new ST. MARK School with its pre-school Early Learning Center and elementary/middle school with grades K-8, the CFC joins the church, the Cassidy Activities Center, administrative offices, and the rectory at ST. MARK, to make a place where we gather and celebrate that our Lord is here.
