Wonderful ST. MARK Families, Friends, and Alumni,
In this time of uncertainty, there is a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. This has been true of our ST. MARK community, as well, and we are so blessed to be part of such a loving community.
Today, ST. MARK Catholic School is participating in #GivingTuesday, the global day of unity and giving. Throughout this pandemic, the dedicated faculty and staff at ST. MARK have been doing the extraordinary and transforming the lives of students each day in and out of the classroom. We know this because you have told us so!
“I cannot praise you enough. The children are thriving both academically and spiritually. The teachers and administrators have exceeded our expectations. This is proof of the value of a ST. MARK education!” ~ Current ST. MARK parent.
“The passion and commitment of the administration and teaching staff shows through. I truly feel that everyone has put their heart into everything to make this year a success.” ~ Current ST. MARK parent.
“I am touched every time my child comes home and says [my teacher] is such a wonderful teacher. She LISTENS to us, she cares about us, she is so kind to us. That is something we can never thank her enough for! Despite SO MANY challenges, [the teachers] keep fueling the passion for learning in my child.” ~ Current ST. MARK parent.
This year has brought unprecedented challenges – from student health and well-being, to ensuring our teachers have webcams, microphones, and sufficient wi-fi to teach concurrently each day. We have purchased more hand sanitizer, gloves, and back-up face masks for students than we ever imagined possible (and we only just finished the first trimester!). As a school we have upgraded our wifi and moved to a new online learning management system (Schoology). Our teachers have purchased numerous items for their classrooms they never thought necessary (such as rolling carts for middle school teachers so that cohorts of students can stay together while the teachers move from class to class with all of their materials). All of this has come with a cost.
You can help us continue to meet the challenges of these unprecedented times!
Your support will help our teachers and staff continue to transform the lives of our amazing students, and help teachers, students, and families thrive in a time of great uncertainty.
No amount is too small. Even just a few dollars can help!
Not only do we need your support, we need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our mission and encourage them to support us too! Join the movement today!
Supporting us with a tax-deductible gift to ST. MARK would provide funds for immediate use for school needs and top priorities in the education of our students. Donations can be made in a denomination of your choosing. Again, no amount is too small.
Thank you for being a part of the ST. MARK family. Together we can achieve the extraordinary during these extraordinary times!
Wishing you a blessed Advent,
