Why Choose ST. MARK?

When choosing a school, what are the considerations one must make? In Northern Virginia, there are “good schools” aplenty. So, why come to ST. MARK Catholic School?

With our strong academics, strong values and strong community, our students find their gifts and talents and learn how to be successful in school and in life. If this is the kind of school you seek, then ST. MARK Catholic School is for you!

A 2015 Blue Ribbon School, named by the U.S. Department of Education, ST. MARK School has a current enrollment of 350 students. Here at ST. MARK, we seek to nurture the whole child: academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically. This commitment has helped our school to earn the Blue Ribbon distinction.

At ST. MARK Catholic School, children ages three years through grade eight grow in faith, knowledge and service under the instruction of experienced, caring teachers. Please take your time enjoying our website and learning about the many qualities that make ST. MARK a truly unique, Christ-centered community.

Since 2003, students have come to ST. MARK School eager to learn, are celebrated for their uniqueness, and allowed to grow to their own unique potential. ST. MARK Catholic School students share the light of Christ in all of their endeavors both in and out of the classroom. Our graduates excel in high school and beyond, attending Diocesan high schools, Gonzaga College High School and Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in D.C., additional local private high schools, and some public high schools, including Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

Please consider visiting us. We give tours at your convenience.
